Girl, buy!

It all started with me wondering how cool it would be if I could get a tee-shirt with a character that looked like me. In 2005, I took my 6 years of digital graphics experience, my file and I walked into a small shop in Châtelet les Halles, a busy area in Paris. These folks were offering printing services on shirts. I walked out with my first custom-printed shirt, craving to have more. A year later, as I was struggling with chronic illness, I spent my nights uploading designs to a French company’s website to create my first POD shop. They were the only French website for custom t-shirt printing back then. I soon found sites that were more user-friendly, cheaper and that offered a wider range of items. I opened shop on spreadshirt, on Zazzle, on other platforms that have since disappeared into oblivion. I have since created visuals for merch used by non-profit orgs for fundraisers or other events.
